Solar Challenges, Met Head-On. Two Phases, Numerous Challenges, One Resolute Team.

Quick Facts:

  • Client: GHCL
  • Location: Gujarat, Tamil Nadu
  • Project Size: 30 MWp
  • Status: Commissioned

GHCL Limited is one of leading manufacturing companies in India and one of our long standing clients. The GHCL Project owing to the size and scale was split into two distinct phases of execution.

Phase-1

GHCL entrusted Prozeal to install Solar Power Plant of 10 MWp in the land of Southern India. Owing to monsoon season, we faced tremendous challenges in procuring material.
Poor road quality caused significant delays. The soil was not capable to endure the load of heavy-duty vehicles to transport transformers, LT panels and other heavy equipment. Our team took it upon themselves to construct a road for material movement to meet the deadlines. We also  worked closely with several third party contractors to build momentum.

Outcome:

Despite the difficulties Prozeal successfully commissioned the plant with all government approvals within record breaking 4 months.

Phase-2

After the successful installation of phase-1 of 10 MWp, GHCL extended faith in us to execute an additional 10 MWp.
The challenge we set for ourselves was to beat out last record time.

Outcome:

This has been one of the fastest projects we have delivered to our clients with all the government approval, Liasoning Process and Plant Erection within a span of 45 Days!

The project was commissioned on the closing of FY 21-22. GHCL received the unit credits in subsequent month’s billing cycle.
